First Visit

Each of you is unique and cared for based on individual need. We will complete a thorough examination and guide you in learning about your personal dental health.

Adults - We reserve one hour to perform a comprehensive oral evaluation. Based on the exam findings, appropriate time is planned for a future cleaning.

Children - The exam and cleaning are typically done together. Parents are in the room with the child when the dentist does the exam to learn about the dental needs.

Prosthodontic specialty care - Some patients are scheduled for a one hour detailed and focused examination. Others may be scheduled for a forty minute second opinion consultation.

Emergencies - We make every effort to treat emergencies in a timely manner.

Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:

1. Current x-rays. If x-rays are not available, they may need to be taken at this appointment.
2. Completed office forms.
3. Medical or dental insurance cards.
   * Regardless of insurance benefits, fees for all first appointments are required at the time of the visit. Claims are submitted and reimbursed upon receipt.
