Lysette L. Brueggeman, DDS

Meet Dr. Brueggeman

Dr. Lysette L. Brueggeman grew up in Waukesha, Wisconsin.  She attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, for undergraduate studies, and Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for dental school, obtaining her D.D.S. degree in 1990.  Dr. Brueggeman then completed a one-year general practice residency in hospital dentistry at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  From 1991 – 96, she practiced as an associate dentist in the metro-Minneapolis area.  In 1996, she and husband, Dr. Michael S. Kopecky, purchased a dental practice in West Bend, Wisconsin.  They have lived in West Bend since then and are proud to call it home.

Dr. Brueggeman is dedicated to her profession and the community.  She served as president of the Washington-Ozaukee County Dental Society and West Bend Noon Kiwanis Club, chair of the Membership Committee for the Wisconsin Dental Association, and was on the board for the Wisconsin Foundation for Donated Dental Services for over a decade.  She is currently an officer with Marquette University School of Dentistry’s Alumni Board.  She is active in continuing dental education and is a member of the Milwaukee Study Club.  Dr. Brueggeman has been honored with fellowships in the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the American College of Dentists, now serving as vice-president for the Wisconsin section of the ACD.

Dr. Brueggeman shares her passion for dentistry with adults and youth alike.  At the office and through volunteer opportunities at local schools, “Dr. B” delights children with her creative approach to dental education.  Adult patients appreciate her warmth and professionalism.  Scaredy-cats are glad they came to see her, and many people comment that they never expected to relax so much at their dental appointment.  Welcome to a new dental experience!
